About us

The mission organisation Faith Hope Love is a non-profit, internationally oriented organisation with a particular heart for people and communities who often live out of sight and receive little support.

Since 1965, we have stood alongside disadvantaged groups in Brazil – in urban outskirts as well as in the country’s most remote regions.

Our key areas of work include practical social aid, the promotion of sustainable educational projects, and support for indigenous communities. We place special emphasis on translating biblical texts into local languages, as well as on literacy and training programmes that enable people to shape their own future. In all of this, we combine linguistic and cultural sensitivity with deep respect for local traditions.

A central concern of our work is to strengthen local churches, communities, and initiatives, and to build long-term, sustainable projects together with them. Our work is carried out in close partnership with local and international organisations and leaders who know the needs of their own communities best

Faith Hope Love is part of a broad network of friends, supporters, and partners who believe, hope, and love together – and who help ensure that people in Brazil gain new perspectives, fresh courage, and new opportunities.

We firmly believe that every person, regardless of their background or origin, has the right to experience God’s love and to live life to the full, and that the stories and messages of the Bible offer encouragement, open new horizons, and bring hope. For this reason, we are committed to supporting people and equipping them with the tools they need to lead a fulfilling and hope-filled life.
